Excellent article Richard.

I feel disgusted when I think back on the time and mental energy I wasted on Football.

Black dominance in the NFL and NBA is partly due to the almost uniquely American obsession with recruiting genetic freaks over players who are skilled/talented.

In basketball and a chunk of American football positions, coaches want giants who can run fast. That's why there are "NFL families" like the Bosa brothers and the Watt brothers, although those are white.

There have been countless players who have been overlooked because they're too short or their 40 yard dash time hasn't been that impressive, despite having a good high school or college career. Even quarterbacks. Aaron Rodgers was nearly overlooked.

Blacks are overrepresented in the professional soccer leagues in Europe, but not nearly to the same degree as they are in the big American sports. The best soccer players are around 5'7"-6'1", in fact, besides goal keepers, there aren't many great players who are over 6'2"

You also don't see many genetic freaks in top level rugby. It's not like other countries don't produce genetic freaks, the average male height in numerous European countries is taller than the US by two or three inches, so there would be a higher proportion of giants, yet a lot of top level rugby players are only around 5'10"-6'0"
